For the first time, a pair of planets has been directly imaged around a Sun-like star, TYC 8998-760-1. These exoplanets are shown in this infrared image, orbiting a star that is much younger than our Sun, at only 17 million years old. Previous evidence of exoplanets mostly came from shifts in star light.
