COSMIC MESSAGE
This image shows a field of galaxies beyond the stars of the Milky Way in the constellation Pegasus. NGC 7331, a large spiral galaxy about 50 million light-years away, is prominent at the upper right. To the lower left is Stephan's Quintet, a group of five interacting galaxies about 300 million light-years distant. These galaxies offer a glimpse into the vastness of the universe.
