Spiral Galaxy NGC 1350

COSMIC MESSAGE

NGC 1350 is a spiral galaxy about 85 million light-years distant in the southern constellation Fornax. Its tightly wound arms, populated by young blue star clusters, seem to encircle a bright nucleus, resembling a cosmic eye. This galaxy is roughly 130,000 light-years across, similar in size to the Milky Way.
