Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, seen here in 2021, returns to the inner Solar System every 6.4 years. This image captures its dusty tail against the stars of Gemini. The comet was famously visited by the European Space Agency's Rosetta mission. It provides a rare close-up look at the icy, rocky remnants of the early Solar System.
