COSMIC MESSAGE
A photographer stands in silhouette against the rising Full Moon in this telephoto image. While a Full Moon is typically the brightest lunar phase, its light was dimmed on November 18/19 during a deep partial lunar eclipse. At maximum eclipse, only a small percentage of the lunar disk's diameter remained outside Earth's dark umbral shadow.
