On February 12, 2023, Krisztián Sárneczky imaged a meter-sized space rock, 2023 CX1, about seven hours before it hit Earth's atmosphere. Its predicted trajectory allowed observers to capture its fiery entry. This image, taken from the Netherlands, shows 2023 CX1 vaporizing over northern France.
