Young Star Cluster NGC 1333
The James Webb Space Telescope peers into NGC 1333, a young star cluster 1,000 light-years away in Perseus. This mosaic reveals the turbulent, dusty region where new stars are forming. Webb's infrared vision helps astronomers identify low-mass brown dwarfs and free-floating planets within the cluster.
