A Storm on Saturn

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

This white wisp on Saturn's cloud tops is a major storm system, first discovered in December 1994. The storm's white clouds are ammonia ice crystals, brought to the top of the atmosphere. Though it looks small, this storm is about the same size as Earth. The Hubble Space Telescope took this image, a color composite of several exposures.
