Black Holes Signature From Advective Disks Research Credit:

COSMIC MESSAGE

Distinguishing between black holes and neutron stars in binary systems is challenging, even with similar accretion disks. Recent theoretical work, however, suggests a new method: advective accretion flows. A black hole system with such flows would appear significantly darker than a comparable neutron star system, offering a unique signature.
