COSMIC MESSAGE
Small, icy, comet-like objects, mostly made of water-ice, may be constantly hitting Earth. This theory, supported by data from NASA's Dynamics Explorer 1 and POLAR spacecraft, suggests these "cosmic snowballs" disintegrate in our atmosphere. They represent a previously unknown class of solar system objects.
