The Red Spider Planetary Nebula, NGC 6537, shows the complex structure that forms when a star ejects its outer gases to become a white dwarf. This two-lobed nebula houses one of the hottest white dwarfs ever observed, likely part of a binary system. Internal winds from the central stars have been measured at over 300 kilometers per second.
