Ultra-Fast Pulsar

Pulsars are rapidly rotating neutron stars, born from supernova explosions. Like cosmic lighthouses, they emit beams of radiation that sweep past Earth, creating pulses. The Crab Pulsar, rotating 33 times a second, energizes its surrounding nebula. However, astronomers have discovered even faster pulsars, spinning hundreds of times per second.
