A Cosmic Call to Nearby Stars

COSMIC MESSAGE

In 1999, the Cosmic Call project broadcast a message from the Evpatoria radio telescope in Ukraine towards nearby stars. This image, made of numbers, was the first page of that message. The 70-meter dish transmitted this information, hoping an alien civilization might decode it. This page was designed to be simpler to interpret than previous interstellar messages.
