Enceladus is one of Saturn's inner moons, only 500 kilometers across. Its surface reflects over 90 percent of the sunlight it receives, making it as bright as fresh snow. Voyager 2 images from 1981 show a surface with few impact craters, indicating it's an active world, even though it should have cooled long ago.
