NASA's STARDUST probe captured this image of asteroid 5535 Annefrank in 2002. Annefrank is located in the main asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. The probe was on its way to Comet Wild 2, and this flyby provided data on the asteroid's size, reflectivity, and general shape. The image was taken from about 3,300 kilometers away.
