Massive Star Forming Region DR21 in Infrared

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

Deep inside the DR21 molecular cloud, new stars are forming, including some of the most massive we know. The Spitzer Space Telescope used its Infrared Array Camera to peer through the dust and gas, which is opaque to visible light. The image reveals huge bubbles and complex structures created by the powerful outflow from these nascent stars.
