COSMIC MESSAGE
On October 3, 2005, an annular solar eclipse occurred, where the Moon passed in front of the Sun but did not completely cover it. This happened because the Moon was relatively far from Earth, making its apparent size too small to block the entire solar disk. The result was a bright ring of sunlight visible around the Moon's silhouette.
