COSMIC MESSAGE

The Great Carina Nebula, NGC 3372, is one of our galaxy's largest star-forming regions, spanning over 300 light-years. It is about 7,500 light-years away in the southern sky. This telescopic view shows glowing filaments of interstellar gas and dark cosmic dust clouds. The nebula is home to extremely massive, young stars.
