COSMIC MESSAGE
Noctilucent clouds are very high-altitude clouds that reflect sunlight even after the sun has set on the ground. They form in the mesosphere, much higher than typical clouds. This image, taken near Vallentuna, Sweden, shows a network of these clouds glowing eerily after dusk. They are a beautiful and unusual atmospheric phenomenon.
