COSMIC MESSAGE
The Pleiades, also known as the Seven Sisters or M45, is one of the brightest and closest open star clusters. It contains over 3,000 stars and is about 400 light-years away, spanning only 13 light-years across. The prominent blue reflection nebulae are evident in this photograph, caused by the cluster's stars illuminating surrounding dust.
