COSMIC MESSAGE
Markarian's Chain is a striking string of galaxies in the heart of the Virgo Cluster. The chain includes two large, lenticular galaxies, M84 and M86, and a pair of interacting galaxies known as The Eyes. The Virgo Cluster is the nearest galaxy cluster to us, containing over 2,000 galaxies.
