The Leonids meteor shower of 1999 was a storm, with over a thousand meteors per hour visible from Europe. This twenty-minute exposure captures some of the show above the Torre de la Guaita in Spain. The Leonids occur each November when Earth passes through the debris trail of Comet Tempel-Tuttle.
