COSMIC MESSAGE
Comet Garradd, officially C/2009 P1 (Garradd), was discovered two years ago by Gordon Garradd in Australia. It is currently visible through a small telescope at magnitude nine. The comet is expected to brighten, possibly reaching magnitude six or seven in February 2012. It already shows a short tail, appearing as an elongated fuzzy patch.
