NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

NGC 6369, known as the Little Ghost Nebula, was discovered by William Herschel in Ophiuchus. This round, faint planetary nebula is formed when a sun-like star sheds its outer layers at the end of its life. The core then shrinks, creating the central white dwarf.
