COSMIC MESSAGE

This cosmic view toward the constellation Cetus features two galaxies: the large spiral galaxy NGC 1055 and Messier 77. NGC 1055 is seen edge-on, showing its dusty appearance, while M77 is face-on, revealing its bright nucleus and spiral arms. Both galaxies are over 100,000 light-years across and are dominant members of a small galaxy group about 60 million light-years away.
