NASA APOD · Scott Rosen
COSMIC MESSAGE
This broad mosaic shows dark and faint reflection nebulae in the constellation Taurus, along the Orion Arm of our Milky Way Galaxy. The six-degree field of view includes the long, dark nebula LDN 1495, stretching from the lower left. Towards the lower right, the Baby Eagle Nebula, LBN 777, presents an upside-down bird-like shape. Scattered fainter Taurus stars are surrounded by small, bluish reflection nebulae.
