COSMIC MESSAGE

NGC 2419, sometimes called 'the Intergalactic Wanderer', is a globular star cluster nearly 300,000 light-years from us. It is so far away that it is more distant than the Large Magellanic Cloud, one of the Milky Way's satellite galaxies. This cluster resides in the constellation Lynx.
