Bryce Canyon is known for its unique geology, but sometimes the sky above it offers a show as well. This image captures two optical effects: a common rainbow, formed by sunlight scattering off raindrops, and more rare crepuscular rays. Both phenomena required the Sun to be directly behind the photographer.
