COSMIC MESSAGE
Puppis A is a supernova remnant about 7,000 light-years away. The explosion of a massive star created this expanding cloud of gas, which glows in different colors. Oxygen atoms shine green-blue, while hydrogen and nitrogen appear red. The entire structure is about 60 light-years across.
