This image from the Pic du Midi Observatory captures three planets currently visible in the night sky. Mars, near its closest approach to Earth in a decade, shows clouds above its north pole and towering volcanoes. Saturn, reaching opposition, displays its bright rings, while Jupiter, the largest planet, also shines brightly.
