NGC 660 is a polar ring galaxy located over 40 million light-years away in the constellation Pisces. It is a rare type of galaxy with a substantial population of stars, gas, and dust orbiting in rings strongly tilted from its main galactic disk. This unusual configuration might have resulted from a past galactic collision.
