COSMIC MESSAGE
The Tulip Nebula, also known as Sh2-101, glows red with ionized gas about 8,000 light-years away in the constellation Cygnus. It spans 70 light-years across, sculpted by the ultraviolet radiation from young, hot stars. This region is also home to Cygnus X-1, a famous X-ray source that harbors a black hole.
