COSMIC MESSAGE
On October 10, the first Large Scale Telescope (LST-1) of the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) was inaugurated at the Roque del Los Muchachos Observatory. Its segmented mirror, 23 meters in diameter, reflects the light of the setting sun. This telescope will detect very high-energy gamma rays from space.
