Comet NEOWISE, C/2020 F3, was discovered in March 2020 and became visible to the unaided eye. It brightened as it reached its closest approach to the Sun, inside Mercury's orbit. This image, taken from Lebanon, captures the comet as it began its long journey back to the outer solar system.
