COSMIC MESSAGE

M44, also known as the Beehive Cluster, is one of the closest star clusters to our solar system, about 600 light-years away. Its stars are relatively young, around 600 million years old. This open cluster, spanning 15 light-years, contains about 1,000 stars and is thought to have formed alongside the Hyades cluster.
