your birthday.
“M106: A Spiral Galaxy with a Strange Center” is copyrighted by Ali Al Obaidly. NASA has permission to show it and we don't, so it isn't on this card.
See it on NASA's siteSpiral galaxy M106 has a strange center. The image, taken from the Kuwaiti desert, shows a swirling disk of stars and gas, with prominent blue spiral arms and red dust lanes near its nucleus. The core glows brightly in radio waves and X-rays, where twin jets run the length of the galaxy. This makes M106 one of the closest examples of a Seyfert galaxy, characterized by vast amounts of glowing gas around its active galactic nucleus.
