The galaxy POX 186, captured by the Hubble Space Telescope, is a small dwarf galaxy about 68 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo. It spans only about 900 light-years and contains roughly 10 million stars. Our Milky Way, by comparison, is 100,000 light-years across with over 200 billion stars. POX 186 is a young galaxy, having formed relatively recently.
