COSMIC MESSAGE

The Dumbbell Nebula, M27, was discovered in 1764 by Charles Messier. It is a planetary nebula, the kind our Sun will create when its nuclear fusion stops. M27 is one of the brightest planetary nebulae in the sky. It can be seen in the constellation Vulpecula.
