Valles Marineris Perspective from Mars Express

Europe's Mars Express satellite has begun sending back detailed color images of Mars. This 3D perspective shows a reconstruction of part of the Valles Marineris. The orbiting satellite will map the entire Martian surface at high resolution, analyze mineral composition, and study the global atmospheric circulation.
