COSMIC MESSAGE

The Pleiades, also known as the Seven Sisters, is a famous open star cluster visible without binoculars. It contains over 3,000 stars, is about 400 light-years away, and spans 13 light-years. The photograph shows blue reflection nebulae surrounding the brighter stars in the cluster.
