NGC 1350 is a spiral galaxy about 85 million light-years away in the constellation Fornax. Its spiral arms, inhabited by young blue star clusters, appear to form a circle around a large, bright nucleus. This gives the galaxy the appearance of a cosmic eye. NGC 1350 is about 130,000 light-years across, comparable in size to our own Milky Way galaxy.
