Phoebe: Comet Moon of Saturn

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

Saturn's moon Phoebe might have once been a comet. Images from the Cassini spacecraft, taken when it entered Saturn's neighborhood, suggest Phoebe originated in the outer Solar System. Its irregular surface, retrograde orbit, dark color, and low density are consistent with it being a captured Kuiper belt object.
