COSMIC MESSAGE

Spiral galaxy NGC 2903 is about 20 million light-years away in the constellation Leo. It's bright enough to be seen from the Northern Hemisphere, yet it's not in Charles Messier's famous catalog. This image reveals its blue spiral arms and central regions, which are a mix of old and young star clusters and immense dust lanes.
