The Magnificent Tail of Comet McNaught

COSMIC MESSAGE
Comet McNaught, the Great Comet of 2007, was the brightest comet in 40 years. Its spectacular tail spread across the sky, visible from dark locations in the Southern Hemisphere. Even city observers could see the comet's bright head without optical aid, and part of the tail was visible just above the horizon for many northern observers.
