COSMIC MESSAGE
Jupiter, the solar system's largest gas giant, was a prominent feature in the night sky, nearing its opposition on December 3. It appeared brighter than the star Aldebaran, the alpha star of Taurus. This image, captured on November 14, shows Jupiter centered within the constellation Taurus. The Pleiades and Hyades star clusters are also visible, marking the approach of the Northern Hemisphere winter.
