This wide-angle exposure captures lightning over Lake Korrision on the Greek island of Corfu, with the town of Preveza on the mainland in the distance. The storm is terrestrial, not cosmic, but the stars and the Milky Way provide a backdrop. The 45-second exposure caught two lightning strikes in mid-May.
