Active Comet ISON

COSMIC MESSAGE
Comet ISON is intensifying as it falls through Earth's predawn skies towards its November 28 encounter with the Sun. The comet's activity has increased significantly, becoming visible to the naked eye from dark locations and developing a more complex tail. This telephoto view from southern Kenya, captured on November 14, shows ISON's tail stretching over two degrees. The enlarged negative version on the right makes the tail structure clearer.
