NASA APOD · Ivo Scheggia
COSMIC MESSAGE
A bright fireball, likely from the Taurids meteor shower, was photographed from the Alps. It was notable for its brightness and the rare orange light it created, which lingered for several minutes. This orange glow, known as a persistent train, is not fire or sunlight.
