Disorder in Stephan's Quintet

Stephan's Quintet is a group of galaxies, four of which are seen here in a titanic collision. Three of these galaxies show nearly the same redshift, indicating they are at a similar distance. They are ripping each other apart with gravitational tidal forces. The large bluish spiral galaxy below and to the left is also part of this interacting group.
