COSMIC MESSAGE
The open cluster NGC 2169, about 3,600 light-years away in Orion, has brighter stars that form a shape resembling the number 37. This numerical asterism is a chance alignment. NGC 2169 is a small cluster, spanning about 7 light-years, and its stars are about 8 million years old, all formed from the same cloud of gas and dust.
